    Hello everyone,

This is a discussion to ask for suggestions on my next book to read 🙂

To give you a context, I’m a Computer Engineer with an MBA at a FIAT school (yes…35k euro in 2012 not invested in BTC). I’m 41 y.o, dad of 2.

I have a corporate job in a Sales role, so not Technical actually.

However, there is a nerd nature in me, and I went deep on Bitcoin. I’ve studied and I’m continuing to study everything I can, from Developers book to monetary and Economics book.

A few months ago I’ve read the Bitcoin standard and fell in Love with Saifedean and Austrian economics.

I’ve read everything from Saifedean and done the classes as well.

Now, I know what to do / read on the tech side, but I need some suggestions on the Economics part.

    So far, I’ve read:

    • All Saifedean (including the ongoing work)
    • Economics in One Lesson (twice)
    • Lessons for the Young Economist by Robert Murphy
    • Deflation and Liberty
    • What has government done to our money

Now, I would like to pick my nextone…mises.org has so many. I’ve started a couple of times Man, Economy, and State but I am a bit intimidated by the 1000 pages. I’m on the second chapter, and sometimes for as much as I love it, it gets boring (especially as I leave these lectures for bed times).

I left it and then went back.

I found a simplified version from Bob Murphy which I’m tempted to, I’ve started the first 2 chapters and it feels too dry and scholastic…

So, If it’s needed to keep going, I will, but if there’s something else more modern and more fun I’d be happy to hear from you!

    Thanks a lot

    Claudio

    Hello Claudio!

I have been reading the shorter pieces from Rothbard on the Mises institute website. Essays and extracts from his books. There are hundreds and a lot of them are perfect for bedtime reading.
