Sorry, there is also a Monetarist or Chicago school, but the question remains. Should the Austrian school be considered as a part of the Classical school of economics? And also what is the difference between the Austrians and the neoclassical school?

Is Austrian economics considered as a branch of classical economics? As far as I know, there are 3 primary economic schools: Classical, Keynesian, and Marxist. Some people say that it should be 4th separate school. Why is that?

Why are Scandinavian countries so rich and prosperous? With Switzerland, it’s totally understandable as the country was on a gold standard until the 1970s. But what about Norway and Sweden? As I understand these countries have large welfare states, which in my logic should be even more devastating to the economy. But somehow it’s not?

Any ideas?
